Rhythm kicks over notes for jazz lead sheet - hiding ledger lines
I'm trying to enter slash notation above standard notation as seen in jazz lead sheets - something like attached picture. I think I have it mostly figured out but if there's a better way let me know.
I'm entering notes in voice 3 and changing the note head to small slash. I'm left with a slash notehead with a ledger line. How do hide the ledger line for a single note?

This is what I've got now. I need to hide the ledger lines just for these slash notes.
OK I got this to look right using note offset. If there's a way to mute these individual notes on playback let me know.

Look at the picture here:

with the notes selected, you untick 'Play' to mute them.
