Errors in the score

• Oct 12, 2024 - 12:28

Hello,

My lovely Musescore keeps popping up "Incomplete measure: Part score: Clarinet in B♭, measure 153, staff 1. Found: 9/8. Expected: 3/4." but when I go to that measure and fix everything in my power - it still shows it, is there any way to avoid this ?

Sincerely,
KPK

If it is only one part, you can click on Parts and reset it. Note that you will lose any layout changes or additions that you have made to that part but all your notes, tempos etc. will get copied over from the main score.

Are you just looking in the complete score?

The error says "... Part score ..." so open the clarinet part and look there. Corruption can occur in parts independently of the score.

How to avoid it? If the developers can find a way to reproduce the creation of a corruption they can make a fix in a future version to avoid it happening again. However, corruptions are usually found on opening a score when the user has no record or memory of exactly what actions were taken before the score was last saved.
