Custom font broke overnight
I'm using a custom font for jazz scores (JazzFont), the same one used in Finale and the old Hal Leonard jazz style. One day I just opened my the jazz score and the custom glyphs are no longer recognized; which happened without any updates or changes to my MuseScore settings (as far as I'm aware of).
Is there any way to fix this? -- screenshot below
Font: JazzFont
The text used: " …Pop ††††Ba³ll†³³ad ³Œ³ = 120‡• "

Which version of MuseScore is that, and which is the last version where it worked correctly?
And which operating system?

Version 4.4.2, it last worked on 4.4.2; it just stopped displaying correctly out of nowhere. The font works in other programs (i.e paint) though. I'm running on Windows 10.
There could be something up in my installed MuseScore, or unrelated to MuseScore, but I can't recall doing anything that could cause this.

Try a factory reset.

didn't work.
things that i forgot to mention:
- it works on my other friends' musescore w/ the same font
- also, it doesn't work on an instance of musescore portable as well
- i have tried reinstalling the font, with no result
- updated to 4.4.3, with no result
it's definitely on my end but i have no clue what
