Cover frame border problem
I have a cover page to my piece which contains various headings and titles etc.
I notice that it displays on screen a dotted rectangle surround, which is helpful.
I have Frame = None.
However, when I change this to Frame = Rectangle in order to have a border, the border is a much wider rectangle off both sides of the page. Can anybody explain why this is happening?
I attach the file in question.
Thank you.

Edit (again): probably the easiest way is to add an image (as attached).

So you create the image separately using some other app (say snipping tool ) and then insert the image to the score?

Yes. You can also search for a suitable frame on the net or create your own.
I would like to resurrect this thread. My original comments still apply, after 3 years. The text frame (Rectangle), when attached to the text within the frame that I have on my cover page, has a border (which can be nicely formatted thickness/colourwise) but nevertheless overlaps the page sides width-wise and there is no way of controlling this. Its dimensions don't seem to reflect the text I have added at all - it's much wider.
I understand this facility and appreciate how simple it is, but it's a shame its behaviour couldn't be tweaked to reflect some meaningful width instead of having a mind of its own.? Saves the bother of importing images of empty rectangles!
