Bug : Tempi, Staff text and Rehearsal marks disapearing from parts when adding instrument visible to part

• Dec 11, 2024 - 13:58

I have done a arrangement for Saturn from Holst and I wanted to add other instruments to my parts so people could follow what others do. Everytime I added a this new "fake" instrument visible in a part, some of the Staff text, tempi and Rehearsal marks are disapearing. I corrected most of them but left uncorrected the ones for Cello (Violoncelle) part.

The only work around I found is to cut and paste all the elements concerned in the main view.

I let you see the file for yourself

EDIT: additionnal details asked: inside the cello part (called Violoncelle in French), measure 50 for instance, there should be a rehearsing mark that appear in the conductor or in other parts, but as soon as I added an other instrument visible in the Cello part (Violoncelle), the number II (2 in roman number) disapeared along with the tempo indication Tempo I (Adagio)

Yes of course: so it is inside the cello part (called Violoncelle in French), measure 50 for instance, there should be a rehearsing mark that appear in the conductor or in other parts, but as soon as I added an other instrument visible in the Cello part (Violoncelle), the number II (2 in roman number) disapeared along with the tempo indication Tempo I (Adagio)

I understand. Maybe a lead I can give you. If you have a part with two instruments and then exchange the order of instruments, the Reahearsing mark and tempi are not anymore at the top of the score, they follow the instrument that used to be at the top. Then if you add other rehearsing mark, you end up with the new ones correctly at the top of the score and the old one just above the instrument which was previously at the top of the part.
