Sustain Pedal is just *'jammed'*

The sustain pedal is, for some reason, not being pedaled on when it's supposed to.
Using the latest version of Musescore ( 4.4.4 ), it sort of is a bummer with all of these perks coming with just a single pedal issue.
- which is also kind of a bummer since i really really like sustain pedals on my pianos
And sure, I've tried exporting it as an audio file ( .mp3 ) to see if it just alleviates the problem but no!
It for some reason carries on to whatever output it has on hand. Whatever you hear is whatever you get.
