Audio not playing since MuseScore 4.4.4 update.
I've seen earlier posts commenting on audio playback going awry after updating to MuseScore 4. Those posts suggest re-installing MuseScore 3, but the ones I've seen are a bit dated. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and found a better fix?
Currently, playback isn't functioning at all. Neither chords nor notes are playing. It was working when I originally installed MuseScore 4, and stopped after I was prompted to update to 4.4.4.

The new update can be a little finicky. Actually, not just the new one. Everybody's system is different. W11 here. I have learned no never update from a prompt within MuseScore. It should work, but doesn't always. Uninstall and reinstall seldom helps. When I update, I always do it from the Software page on this site. Once I update, and before I open MuseScore, I restart my computer.
