no sound
I can't get sound. I don't have the I/O tab visible in the edit/"Preferences" dialog.

It's now called "Audio+Midi". Have you restarted your computer?

Many thanks, bobjp. I haven't found Audio-Midi" and I have restarted my PC. Strangely, I don't seem to have the problem when I use my laptop, so maybe there's something wrong my PC, or how it's set up. I do have the latest version of Studio 4. Maybe I'll delete it and re-load.

The Audio+Midi replaced I/O in preferences. Reinstall seldom helps.

Do other apps have problems like that on that system? That's one way to know if there is something fishy, like a virus, trojan, malware, and so on.
