importing drum midi data
why is musescore like this. I have this midi data directly exported from my DAW, and for some godforsaken reason when in musescore 4 it ends up looking like this. jesus man

eh eh eh... unexpected events of importing a MIDI. I counted 27/4: i'm guessing, should there have been 9 measures of 3/4 or was it originally a 27/4 measure?

nope, it was more like a loop of 6, 8, 6, 7. in halftime so it should have been 27/8. the song was an original comp heavily inspired by another song of the same time signature ("Ace Attorney: Justice for All Examination Theme"). good counting!

sorry, forgot to mention, it's easier for me to write in one big time signature than a bunch of looping smaller ones so that's why it's like that lol

Try quantizing the midi in the DAW and then use MS4's 'group rhythms' function and hope it works...
Midi import was better in 3.x. At least there was some level of control.

You're right, with several features to subsequently process the imported midi. But the result i see here has something mysterious... the pauses could also be reduced with the 'group rhythms' function (I don't remember if the English menu item is exactly like that), although the midi should probably be quantized in the DAW, but there really is something wrong. Even for MS4, a similar disaster cannot be explained.
