Multiple Original Composers

• Jan 29, 2025 - 15:15

I published a choir anthem that is a medley of 3 songs. Every Time I Feel the Spirit is the only one in public domain. The other 2 are under copyright. I have permission from both to use the songs. When I published the document, I was only able to credit one person. I put a note in the description. However, it's a misnomer to recognize only one. Is there a way to fix this?

"When I published the document, I was only able to credit one person."

When you publish a score, that becomes a question which you have to ask on musescore.com - and that's because the rules for publishing are set by the online team on musescore.com. These forums here on musescore.org only deal with the free MuseScore music notation editor on desktop computers.

Thank you for the reply. I think I'm confused. I posted in this group because I wasn't sure if there was a way to acknowledge more than one composer. I was hoping that someone could tell me what I didn't do correctly or find. I will be happy to post on the improving group now that I know it's an improvement issue. I felt scolded by your reply.

" I'm very new to this and have no idea what you mean... I wish there is a way for me to delete this post."

On the contrary, your post will be useful to others who encounter the same problem in the future.
What David referred to as "stacked" simply means that you use the Enter key to force a new line in the Composer field (one line per composer):

See the attached example score.
