Muse Sounds Playback is delayed
When starting playback in a score using Muse Sounds, actual playback is delayed by 0.1 seconds, causing any Muse Sounds instruments to miss the "hit" of the first note. Exported audio plays fine, so it's clearly a problem with Playback specifically.

It depends on how powerful your computer is, and how you have set up your audio device.

I'm using an M1 MacBook Pro, and the same issue with the same delay happens regardless of if I'm using headphones, the default speakers, or even an older Intel MacBook. My specs aren't top-of-the-line, but they're nothing to be ashamed of either, and if MuseScore can't handle proper playback on a decently powerful computer, that indicates to me that it's an issue with the app rather than my own device. Not to mention that the rest of playback works just fine, it's only the first quarter-second getting cut out, so I really do think that this is an issue somewhere in MuseScore or Muse Sounds.

The 0.1-second playback delay when using Muse Sounds likely stems from a latency issue in the playback engine. Since the exported audio plays correctly, the issue is isolated to real-time playback. Try adjusting buffer settings or updating MuseScore to see if it resolves the delay. You could also experiment with reducing the number of simultaneous instruments. Balancing work and studies was harder than I expected. After missing a few deadlines, I realized I needed help. A friend recommended https://ukwritings.com/write-my-essay website, so I decided to let UKWritings service write my essay for an upcoming deadline. I was honestly surprised by the quality! The essay was detailed, had strong arguments, and even followed my professor’s specific requirements. Now, I use this service whenever I need an extra hand!
