Spacing in Musecore 4.5
Hello!
I'm sure some folks are experiencing some success in the new 4.5 version, but I am finding it so awful compared to 4.4. I'm hoping its just me and there is some really easy way to deal with spacing.
How do I easily increase spacing. You used to just be able to select the measure click on a note and drag to increase spacing for the whole measure. Now it seems like a massive pain. Is there a new way to easily do this (other than selecting the measure, clicking on format, click stretch, and then repeat about 100 times until the measure is finally big enough to support the lyrics shown). Honestly, unless there is a better way of doing it, I might have to stop using musescore, this is such a pain.

Read the updated Handbook, learn how to do things, practice a bit, or just give up and leave.

Not very helpful.
A better way is to select a measure and open Properties. Or delete the system breaks that 4.5 forced on you.

Thank you for the good advise bobjp! I ended up just doing a system restore to before I downloaded the update so that I can keep using 4.4 in the meantime. There seem to be more than a few annoying bugs (ex: it doesn't want to let you start a measure with a sharp or flat) that I'm sure they'll work the kinks out of sooner than later

Uh, no. "Deleting" the system breaks will make the notes more crowded, by putting more measures per system. Adding system breaks--whether locking or not-- is the same to make notes less crowded.

Yes, delete the added breaks and add them where you want them instead.
