Ghost notes?! I'm hearing (in playback) notes that aren't there.
The first one is at measure 37 - a long F note that just keeps playing for a few measures... Then some invisible other notes join in. Is this a bug? How can I see them and delete them?

Possibly known issue

Will be fixed in Musescore 4.5.2
In reply to Possibly known issue https:/… by mercuree
I don't think so. That says the trill continues to sound. The only trill is a few measures before and is an E.
Some observations. This is on beat two of measure 37. Delete all the notes in the flute part and an F still sounds on beat two. Change the the first 1/16th note on beat two to an F and there is no held note. Delete the entire measure and the next measure becomes 37 and the held note still happens on beat two. Resetting the part has no effect.
However change the font to Muse sounds and there is no held note.
No idea what is happening.

I checked version 4.5.2 and this issue is fixed there.
Expect a release next week or the week after.
Or try the testing version https://musescore.org/en/node/377615
