how do i uninstall muse hub from mac
How do I uninstall Muse Hub from my Mac? It won't let me move it to the trash because it says "application is open", but I also don't see the app when I try to force quit.

Open the Hub. Click on the Gear icon in the upper right. Scroll down to the bottom. BTW turn off everything on your way down. Then select "Quit".

This advice is useless. I have the same problem. It won't open. If it won't open, how does one open the Hub so it can be deleted?

Locate "Applications" in Finder. Select Musehub and drag it into the wastebasket.
Then re-install Musehub.

Sorry, @Hartmut. You've got to read the posts more carefully. They are saying "It won't let me move it to the trash because it says 'application is open'." So they cannot do what you are recommending.
Not a Mac user, so this is unlikely to be helpful, but ...
In Windows, when MuseHub is running, it appears in the System Tray: the box at bottom right (by default) with the time, the volume control, and similar. You click the arrow button and you can access it there, for example, to stop it running. I assume that Mac has some similar kind of place, but don't know where it would be.
