Seeing Double
Hello, I am new to MuseScore, so this may be something very basic. When I open a score I get two copies, one just behind the other, and an extra "Untitled" along side the score I am working on. The twin windows mirror each other, any notes I add in the fore window is mirrored in the back window, but the back window takes up some of my work space and is no use to me. If I close the back window, the front window closes as well, and vice versa. No where in the manual can I find anything about this.
How do I get just one window, one score open
thanks
Dick M

Hello and welcome among us,
So: "View" menu -> Untick "Documents stacked"

Thank you! That did the trick
Also, the "Untitled" score is what MuseScore always starts out showing by default if you open MsueScore from the program icon (or command line). If you don't wish that to happen, go to Edit / Preferences and choose how you'd like MuseScore to start instead. Or open MuseScore not from the program icon but by double-clicking the score in your file browser (eg, Windows Explorer, macOS Finder, etc).

Hi Mark. I did buy your book (thank you for writing it) and have been reading it, as well as indexing the pages for specific things, like duplets. Someone just mentioned "Unclick Stacked Documents" That solved my double vision thing
