How do I add text symbols?
I've written Andante at the start of my piece. However, I want to give a more exact speed like crotchet = 80. How do I do this?

Add a tempo text, double click on it and add andante.

I already have 'Andante.' I want [note] = 80.

Click the rest double clic the symbol
double clic the Tempo, enter Text

You have first to create a "tempo text" (from pallet "tempo", via menu add->text or shortcut "alt+t" to select the note duration, then you select and double click (or right click->edit)it and the description "Andante".
It isn't possible to add a tempo marking in staff text or system text.
