Adding (explanatory) little note
Here is a fragment of a score (a capella SSATB) by Gerald Finzi:
I want to add a similar parenthesised explanatory enharmonic little note &em; what is the cleanest way to do it? (Almost exactly the same situation, involving an augmented triad too.)

Ie, add the A # in a second voice (disable playback in Inspector) -> in Inspector, tick "small" note -> made invisible stems and extra-rests of second voice -> via noteheads palette: add parenthesis (with slight edition for horizontal offset of one of them, or double-click and arrow keys)
