Selection Color, Opening New Documents, Etc.
Hello,
Using a school Mac whenever I open MuseScore everything is black - I can't see any music. Then, when I open preferences and reset "all preferences to default" I can see the music.
However, when I select music, the note remains black - I can't tell what note I have selected. If I select a measure or a range of measures the selection box remains black. Does anyone know what is going on? Is there a way to change the "Selection Color"?
On my home Mac everything is fine. Some of my students have a similar problem with their school-supplied Macs - yet other students have no problems at all.

Are you using version 2.0.3? If so, this was a known problem. You need to upgrade.

We were actually using 2.02. I upgraded to the new one and everything works - thanks! Now the problem will be to get the school to push out the update to our students. . .

They need to upgrade to at least 2.0.3.1 to not have the black screen issue.
Preferably advise them to update straight away to 2.1; unless they are hit by the non-sound bug, which only affects some combinations of MacOS and MuseScore2.1
