How do I load an .sfz instrument to play a score?
NO NEED TO REPLY - I HAVE RESOLVED THIS ISSUE, BUT CANNOT FIND A WAY TO DELETE THIS POST
I have just installed version 2.1.0 of MuseScore. I understand that I can use .sfz format instead of soundfonts to play scores. In the Zerberus tab of Synthesizer, I have a test instrument (Woodwinds - Flute Solo.sfz, from Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra), which I placed in C:\Program Files (x86)\MuseScore 2\sound.
I can select this instrument in Mixer, but I hear no sound when I press the play button.
How do I load an .sfz instrument so that it is used to play the notes of my score and I can actually hear it?

For the record, there is no way to delete a post. Instead, better to simply add a comment saying how you solved the problem, so others searching for information on the same problem can see the possible solutions.

Good to know
I am having the same problem. How did you fix it?

Be sure you have the SFZ fully installed, including the WAV file that accompanies the SFZ file. If you are sure that you have installed the SFZ fully, and are sure you have selected the appropriate sound in the Mixer, then please attach your score so we can investigate what else might be going wrong.
