Double (or triple) lines in the lyrics! Please help!
Something weird is going on. One syllable is supposed to span over several notes, and I get this double line that I don't want. It's supposed to be ONE little line in the middle of it, not two or more.
Now, I have done this in many places, and it usually works just fine. But on this specific place it refuses to work with me. I've tried everything - deleting the bars, writing it again, even copying everything into a new project, but the double line stays!! I REALLY don't want it, and I don't understand why this is going on. On the example above it works fine! It doesn't seem to matter if I use slurs or not!

If the syllables are too far apart, additional dashes show.
ISTR that in the next major version there will be an option to control that, but in 2.x there is none

Ok, thanks. I'll just have to decrease stretching for those places then.
Actually, it's not incorrect - it's the way standard engraving practice calls for widely-spaced syllables to be handled. Unless you have very special reason to need to deviate from standard engraving practice, best to just leave them alone.

Yes, incorrect was the wrong word. I just didn't like the look of it, that's my only reason. But I fixed it, decreased stretching...
