SUB p
Hi guys n guyess's
just got to the end of writing out a part that one of my musicians lost (!) and the last note is SUB p (jazz score btw Frank Mantooth). Apart from me writing SUB is there a text palette somewhere with it in.
I've written it with the "jazz score" tab open, have looked in the "Dynamics" tab and the "Advanced" tab to no avail.
As MUSESCORE seems to have everything these days, I'm guessing I have been looking with eyes wide shut...

Just double click the p (so it's in edit mode) and type the SUB before it.

It's not a workaround - typing is how text is entered. We can't possibly provide every possible piece of text that has ever been included in a score - the palette would contain thousands if not millions of entries :-)
If you end up using a particular piece of text often enough to want to save yourself the trouble of typing it each time, see the Handbook under "Custom palettes" to see how to add it to your own palette for reuse.
