Page Layout -- Size of Title & Labels to left of staff
Now that I've mostly finished entering in one score, there are a few final things I'd like to do:
[1] Reduce the size of the title area at the top. The default template uses very large type for the title of the piece. When I right-click on the title area and then select "Edit Element", I'm not sure what to do next.
[2] In most standard vocal sheet music (3 staves per system = voice plus piano accompaniment), there isn't much need for the titles to the left of each stave (e.g. Voice and Piano). Is there any way to eliminate these )standard single-voice piano voice-Is there any way to modify the size of the title area at the top of the first page.
If it's possible to do either of these things ,could somebody explain how and/or direct me to the section of the handbook that has that info?
Thanks for any help you can offer.

You can remove the long and short names from the staves by right clicking a staff, selecting staff properties, select the text, press delete and click OK. This will suppress the staff names.
