How to fill the score to the entire page?
I switched from Sibelius to MuseScore. There is an option in Sibelius that automatically fills in the page when the music score occupies a certain percentage of the page. I don't know how this is implemented in MuseScore.
Another problem is that when I use the "Breath" little comma, the program automatically adds extra space behind the note. How can I turn this feature off? Or can I insert a pure symbol that does not stick to a note?

The first problem is solved. Could you answer my second question?

I can try...
Ctrl+A-> Layout/Decrease...
Right-click the Breath (Select/More) then use Inspector (F8) to adjust.
You can attach your score here if you have any problems

Adjusting Breath does not affect note spacing, and Increase/Decrease Stretch will only take effect for the entire measure.
When I was using Sibelius, I adjusted the scores to publishing-quality appearance. After switching to MuseScore, I still want to maintain this standard. :-)

If possible upgrade to 2.2.1 https://musescore.org/en/download

I read it. I was shocked by the typesetting effect that MuseScore can achieve. I have been using Sibelius for a long time. After switching to MuseScore, I discovered that MuseScore is even more convenient than Sibelius in some functions. Thanks to the GNU project and MuseScore's community culture!

Pressing the keyboard shortcut 'Z' will bring up the Symbols Palette.
Symbols in this palette are pure symbols.
Type 'breath' in the searchbox to find the comma.
Drag from the palette into position.

I tried it, but it looks like the Master Palette works like the Palette on the left, and I can't drag any symbol directly onto the page.

No.

Oh, forgot to say, I'm using Ubuntu. Does this cause any difference?

To apply it, select the note and double click the symbol. You can then move it where you want it.

That's right, but this adds extra space after the note.

It doesn't add any space when you enter it from the master palette. Press Z to see the master palette, then search for breath to see the mark you want to add. Add it from the symbols section, not the Breaths and Pauses section.

The Master Palette has a palette labelled 'Breaths & Pauses'. Don't use this one.
You want the breath mark from the palette labelled 'Symbols'.
Type the word 'breath' to find it.

Oh! successful! I didn't notice that it was to find it in Symbols, not in other palettes.

Indeed, the Symbols palette is special, not like other palettes.
See:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/master-palette#symbols
especially this part:
Note: Elements from the Symbols section do not follow any positioning rules (in many cases unlike identical elements from other sections of the Master Palette), nor do they affect score playback.
That's what you said you wanted -- a pure symbol.

Now I know that! Thank you very much!

Click on the note, then double click on the palette element.
Adjust its position using the Inspector, or by dragging.
-OR-
Drag the palette element near a note (dotted anchor lines will appear, then release).
Thank you for taking the time for this question!
