Beam across measure
Try as I might I cannot find out how to perform what I hope is a simple task. The "default.png" file shows what musescore does with six eighth notes in 3/4 time. It puts the notes in pairs. However, I would like to place a beam throughout the measure as shown in the "goal.png" file attached. The documentation says to right-click the time signature and make adjustments the the Time Signature Properties… dialog but nothing seems to work one way or another in this box. What am I missing here? Please advise. Thank you in advance.

OK this works. Thank you so much.
I hope that doing this will establish a default behavior throughout the piece.
If you have done what Shoichi said in the time signature and you still get groups of two then select the notes (whole measures will work) and in the beams palette double click "auto" so they will beam according to the time signature. I suspect you selected these notes and added "Start beam here" which is actually what happens in the default time signature. Reapplying "Start beam here" would tell MuseScore to ignore the time signature.
If this doesn't help, then attach your score so we can help further.
