Playback individual voices?
Writing out musical theatre score for lead voice with 3 harmony parts -
want to write 3 harmonies on one stave as separate voice parts (1234 squares at top right)
...can I play them back separately?
and will they print separately ?
or am I better to do 3 separate staves???
thanks

3 staves is the easiest way to get what you want and the only way to print.
If you want to play them back separately, they will need to be on separate staves. But sometimes it is easier to do the writing out on a single staff. If you find that to be the case, you can write all four parts on a single staff (using a separate voice for each part, of course), and then use Edit -> Tools -> Explode to have MuseScore automatically move each part to a separate staff. (You must first have created a staff for each voice below the staff you are writing the parts on before using this command.)

Explode only explodes voice 1, so using 4 voices is not a good option to use with explode. Even if Voices could explode, it's easier to just write the score on 4 staves to begin with. #1 problem is that if you stop inputting notes into other than voice 1, you have to remember to select the voice you are entering the notes in so you don't overwrite voice 1 when you start up again.
