Is there a way to drag my score while in note entry mode?
I use the drag feature to navigate in my scores, mainly when I just need to back or forward a few measures and the measures are not visible from where I currently am in the score.
If I am in "note entry" mode, I have been unable to find a way to drag the score, so I have to exit that mode, drag the score, and re-enter it.
Is there a way to not have to do this?
Thanks!

No, but shift+mouse wheel moves the score while in note input mode.

@alittlemusicality, try also Ctrl+F https://musescore.org/en/handbook/viewing-and-navigation#find

Thank you, Shoichi. I am familiar with this feature. Unfortunately, this option would take longer than what I am currently using.

Thank you, Mike320. Unfortunately, this only moves the score between pages, but if I need to move to a measure that is on the same page but higher up in the score on a part that is not visible at the time, this doesn't work.

The mouse wheel alone will scroll up and down; holding down Shift simultaneously will scroll left and right, and holding down Ctrl will zoom in and out.

How silly of me. Of course, it does. Thanks. :)
Dragging the score is not a very efficient way of moving about in general, best to learn the other methods. I say this because in note input mode, it obviously fails (it adds a note instead), but even in normal mode, it is only good for small motions, and it is also way too easy to accidentally grab an object and drag it instead of dragging the canvas.
The mouse wheel - with our without shift - or equivalent touchpad gesture like two-finger swipe - is your best friend. Also the PgUp/Down buttons and other navigation keys, also View / Navigator.
