Can You Space Lines of Music (Systems) Unevenly?
I'm writing a set of short 8-bar transcriptions and I want to space each line of music differently. I want some lines close together and then when I'm on a new 8-bar section I want a larger space between the lines of music to separate each 8-bar section.
Can this be done in Musescore?

Start with the shortest distance between systems then use spacers from the breaks and spacers palette to make others larger.

If the sections are different pieces and you intend to add text explaining this probably better to just add a frame instead of a spacer, then you can put your text there.
One shortcut that I discovered accidentally is to hold down Shift, then click and drag on the staff you want to move.

A limitation of shift+drag is the staff will always be that new minimum distance from the one above it in every system. This will affect the uneven spacing.
