In the german version of Musescore: OS: Linux Mint 19, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0.19814, revision: e5d17fc
Some texts in menus are cut. This (screenshot) is not the only style edit page in which it appears!

Even if I don't see that particular issue on Windoes, it should get fixed as part of https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/4422 for #280162: Improve language and formatting of Style Tuplets dialog, which has those 5 items below one another.
Which other pages of that dialog are affected?
I can confirm it with OpenSuse and the last nightly (the text of "Schlüsselwechselankündigung erstellen" is cut off). I can't see other text, which is affected too.
OS: openSUSE Leap 15.0, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0.19911, revision: 64e1265
that screenshot is different from the OPs though, only one string truncated, not 5
And none is truncated on Windows...
fixed in 97cf1412b9 (I hope, please double check)
Apparently still an issue, see https://musescore.org/en/node/280142#comment-879057
But apparently only on Linux
It seems, this wasn't a problem in earlier development builds, for example revision: 6ba431b.
But some nightlies later (revision: cca24ff):
Can you try with the latest build again? f9c3bfa0df or later?
For me it looks fine with revision: 9549474. But needs the feedback from @Pentatonus too, because as mentioned my screenshots are different from his one.
Hello again,
i tried it with the newest version: OS: Linux Mint 19, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0.20087, revision: 12d0e18
Same error! :-( No error in 2.3.2
After reading another issue, i got the solution to my problem: Edit/Settings/Preferences/Style
I changed the font (I use Arial narrow for testing) and now no menu text are cut anymore!
Before i used a font called "Sans Serif". Now i only have to find a font that's not so narrow like Arial Narrow.
What is the default font for Linux?
Sans Serif, Font size "9" (suppose should be the default for all Linux distributions)
In reply to Sans Serif, Font size "9" … by kuwitt
With this settings, the texts are cut.
I now use Nono Sans 9pt
