exporting image png quality
hello,
i am working on a musical education concept which combines real played music with exported png from musescore, assembling videos with openshot (youtube HD format) and publishing them on youtube (pianoprof) . The graphic quality of the score shown on youtube is not good enough for pupils working on the scores.
Can I improve the resolution of images exported (png 1400dpi) from musescore in order to get better results on the youtube video?
When exporting from musescore site to youtube directly, the graphic is fine.
Thank you for any help,
hartmut (as hlamsfuss)

If you use the image capture feature in MuseScore, you can right click the selection area, select Resolution (xxx)... and change the resolution. xxx tells the current resolution it is set at which I believe has a default of 300 DPI.
Try open Preferences->Export, set the resolution.

@Shoichi, both our methods do the same thing. I didn't know about your method.

I'm still exploring, I guess 'There are more things in (heaven and earth) MuseScore...'
Can't you use SVG? That would look sharp and crisp at any zoom factor
thank you all for your help ! I
I allready tried the thing with higher resolutions, without success. must be my video editor openshot or settings within it. other people publish very nice sheets...so why souldn't me?
