Musescore 3
I have just happened upon a twitter feed about MuseScore 3. When I clicked on "update" in my version (OS: Windows , Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (32-bit): 2.3.2, revision: 4592407) it said that no update was available. Is it being rolled out overtime?

You have to install 3.0 from scratch. It is not an update to 2.3.2, but a different program that can co-exist with 2.3.2 on your computer. All major new versions of MuseScore work like this. The upgrade from MuseScore 1 to MuseScore 2 also worked like this.

Thank you for your reply. Presumably I can delete much earlier versions of the programme (eg I still have a 2014 version sat on my computer.

Yes, but keep 2.3.2. Version 3 may not be mature enough for your tastes, and then you have a backup to fall back onto.

2014? If that's version 1.x, you might as well keep that also if you have any scores made with version 1 that cause difficulties importing to version 2. Version 3 imports version 2 scores but no attempt to properly import a version 1 score.

I thought that in version 3, Musejazz would "create" a handwritten type score. Have I missed a vital step in the download do you know?

You haven't missed a step. That is how MuseJazz appear. What you see is the advertised handwritten music font.

The handwritten look is more prominent when you add text.
