Adding an Image Expands Measure
I know how to insert an image into Musescore 3. However, when I insert an image, it makes the measure a lot longer, even if the image isn't that big. Is there a way to fix or prevent this?

So, when the inserted image is deleted, does the measure return to its previous size?
Please attach an example of such behavior.

Here's how the score looks with and without the image.
The image is the squiggly line in the Timpani Part.
See my response to your other thread. If the image overlaps something, space is added to prevent the overlap. If you'd rather see the overlap, disable automatic placement using the Inspector.
