Crash while entering lyrics MuseScore 3.0.4.5763

I am having trouble with lyrics. I have copied one page at a time of sheet music from a pdf converted form into a full version that I am building in the Choral, SATB + Piano template. I have successfully transferred 5 of 15 pages single pages of of lyrics into the template. On the 6th page, I select a note, hit CRTL-L and get the box to enter text. I type the first word starting at measure 37, which shows on the screen. Then no matter whether I hit space or dash, the program crashes and closes. I add the crash comments. This seems to happen every time I try to enter lyrics after this point. Thanks,
