Can't install
When I try to install MuseScore 3 (latest version) I get this--"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'MuseScore-3.0.1.msi' in the box below." Use source: C:\Users\test1\Downloads\ and a browse window. I searched my whole computer for that installation package and found nothing. The download is named 'MuseScore-3.0.5-x86_64' Please help me--I miss my MuseScore!! Says the older version cannot be removed but there is no older version according to my search.

https://musescore.org/en/download from this page you can download the new version (64 bit, be careful. 32 bit version for some operating systems), the portable version and the previous ones.
Try to download again from https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/releases

Thanks for the suggestion! I downloaded the old 3.0.1 and put it in the folder that the installer wanted and it worked!! Then I automatically upgraded and it worked!! Thanks for your suggestion.
Put that MuseScore-3.0.1.msi into C:\Users\test1\Downloads. You can get it from https://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/musescore/releases/MuseScore-3.0.1/

That worked!! Then I did the automatic upgrade and now I have the new version!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!

MuseScore will not allow me to open older versions. It says "updated version available" and then closes when you try to install the older version.

Uninstall the older version. If it asks for the installation disk, point it to where you stored the (older) msi file. Then install the new version.

There is no help center email for the MuseScore software. Just for the musescore.com part, the score sharing website and the mobile apps. So no wonder they don't (and can't) help.
