Keyboard entry: adding chord notes to tied notes
Can someone recommend me the best way (using keyboard input) to add notes to tied chords?
As an example, let's say I'm in 4/4 time and I want to add a C-E-G chord with duration of 6 beats.
Attempting to add using keyboard I tried typing:
n 7 . c shift-e shift-g
... but this only adds the e and g as half notes to the final 2 beats of the chord.

Ah, I see, so create an untied chord and then extend it afterwards. Thanks!

With this way, you can add an infinite number of tied notes.
