When I use the ottava8 (above) on numerous bars the playback stutters. Can this be cured or some way to allocate more memory to MuseScore. Otherwise I have to use Musescore 2.

I tested it, only the "Musescore General" and "Musescore General HQ" sound-fonts have this problem.
This problem is clearly caused by the soundfont you are using.
Try with another soundfont.

PS: See Measure 37; The top note on the left-hand should be c, not d.
