Attach sheet music to a Word doc or pdf? (musical script)
I want to create a musical script (already written) and incorporate the sheet music (created with MuseScore) with the script so the end result is a booklet form script.
I tried "embedding" the pdf into the Word document; didn't work.
I tried converting the pdf version into Word document (using pdfelement6-pro); fonts turn to gobbledygoop. (I attached an example, if you're curious about the results; tried MS UI Gothic and Arial Unicode Misc fonts with no better results.)
I am willing to pay for the needed pdf converter or whatever. but want to know if what I am buying will do the trick. The script can be either Word or pdf, but I would like it editable so I can add or fix page numbers and table of contents.
Has anyone else done this successfully?

Or export from MuseScore as PDF and then use PDFill pdf editor (free at pdfill.com)

If you started with a word doc and added the pdf, that's what I want to do. This looks worth a go, thanks! If not I'll try the next one suggested...

You could use the "image capture" in MuseScore and paste the resultant image(s) into your Word doc?

@ meredithdevoe1, Libreoffice allows you to set up a justified text (which MuseScore still does not) and export it as a PDF;
It can be useful to create a page, e.g. a biographical note or similar, to insert into a global PDF, using PDFSam or other similar software.
The printing functions of a PDF as standard, usually allow you to set up multiple pages per sheet etc.
