Repeat bars with staff type change
Before I say my issue, let me just state this in case I need to clear any confusion...
In your palettes, under "Text", you can change the staff properties for one or more measures instead of the whole score (ex. staff lines, size, changing element properties).
My only issue with this is that I want to do this where there is a repeat bar right next to it. When I try to do this, the barline dots get screwed up like this, as shown on the bottom left of the image.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Let me know if you do. Thank you.

Bass, Electric bass? You can't change from an unpitched to a pitched instrument. If you mean Bass drum, then define the proper drumset and you can place notes in the proper places.

I'm working with all marching percussion. So marching bass drums. It's not the notes that's the issue, it's the placement of the dots on the repeat bar. Does that make any sense?

You didn't include the staff type change in your score as in NeganAcht.mscz
This is an interesting bug that should be reported at https://musescore.org/en/node/add/project_issue?pid=1236
