Non-breaking bar line?
Is there a way for me to force a section of measures onto a single line? Without a final bar line, the measures fit into one line without breaking using the "Decrease layout stretch" function, but with the final bar line, they break into 6 measures and 1 on the following line.

For clarity, I am referring to the break between the 1st and 2nd systems in the attached file.
The barline is not causing the measure onto the next system, it's the stretch. I'm using 3.1 and I deleted the end barline with no ill side effects.

Thanks for the reply! It seems I am unable to keep all 7 measures on the same system including the final barline, even after trying to adjust the stretch, which is what I have been trying to do, such that all 4 themes on the page are on 1 system each, with a final bar line at the end of each system.

upgrade to version 3.1 and see if it's fixed. BTW, the double barline I removed was the one after measure 7.

Thanks! I'll update and give it a shot.
They won't fit onto one line given your current style settings, as the sixteenths are already practically touching. I would recommend either reducing the overall staff size in Format / Page Settings. Or, you could experiment with reducing the various distances in Format / Style / Measure.
