Add a hyphen (centred) dashed line to the lines pallet
I would like lines such as "cresc._ _ _ _ ", "dim. _ _ _ " and " _ _ _" have the option of using a hyphen instead of underscore. These three examples would appear as "cresc.- - - -", "dim. - - - - " and "- - - - -". But also to allow for custom spacing in a hypen-dashed line.
Quite a bit of printed music uses the hyphen dash, especially when connecting entities such as:
"cresc. - - - - - - - - - poco f". Personally I think it looks better than the underscore.
No doubt someone will tell me that there's a nifty way of achieving this already.

I withdraw this request: I see that I can alter the position of "cresc." relative to the underscore. That does 99% of what I need. Though doesn't that necessitates altering the position of a linked (autoplaced) dynamic at the end of the line, but that's a minor inconvenience.

I've changed my mind on this issue: while I can alter the positioning of the dashed line with respect to the begin and continue text (by changing the Y value for the text) the result doesn't align well with when a dynamic is present at the end of the dom. or cresc. line and autoplace is active. In my opinion the cresc. and dim. lines should be centred on the begin and and text as they are for trill and ottava lines.
Is this a feature or a bug?

You may change the default alignment to center if you like. Change it in the inspector and click the "S" to the far right of that line. The current left justified looks more like what I usually see.

I see it now. I didn't understand what those weird symbols meant. Tried everything else.
Thank you!
