The frame around a rehersal mark is a rectangle already, it may appare as a square (which too is a rectangle) if the content has the right width

So instead of entering, for example, B as a 'square' rehearsal mark, the OP can enter __B__
That is, use spaces before and after the content to create a 'rectangle'.
