Alsa and Portaudio issues in v3
I am trying Musescore 3.0.5 on a fresh Linux Mint 19.1 install and I am having problem with audio I/O.
PulseAudio works fine but I can't use that with my midi keyboard. Alsa and jack menu do not appear and PortAudio does not list my sound card. I do not get sound anymore if I switch back to PulseAudio. I have to delete the [IO] section of the .ini config and restart the app to make it work again.
I reverted to the last Musescore 2 version and everything works like a charm. Alsa appears in the settings and I can use my Midi keyboard. Portaudio also works fine and detect my device.
Probably something to do with the v3. I linked a screenshoot of the I/O menu.

Hello,
i'm on Linux Mint 19 and MS 3.0.5 AppImage and for me all is fine, Alsa and Jack appear in the dialog.

I tried the AppImage and all is fine too. So the problem comes from the 3.0.5 version from flathub
I have the exact same issue. Linux Mint 19.1 plus musescore appimage 3.1. Portaudio does not recognize anything at all.
Did you ever find a solution?

Probably you' ve got a solution already, but if not, have you bin in the group 'audio'. Using MS3.x worked fine with alsa, but lately it stopped, until i added the group audio to my account.
Hope that helps
