Bug in Real time manual entry mode?
I like the real-time entry mode (manual) I assign it to the foot pedal tap swing 1/8th on it and away I go writing jazz charts ...ACE...BUT it only works on a treble staff/piano sound. When I try and use it in the Jazz combo template it writes the tune note PLUS a couple of drone notes !!!! useless. Any thoughts/workarounds? Cheers Pete DownUnder...

In order to understand and assist, we'd need you to attach your score and give precise steps to reproduce the problem.

Hi Marc
Thanks for the speedy reply. OK check this. Simple treble staff. Piano sound transcribes flawlessly. Same thing on trumpet staff ..lots of errors. Now look what happens when you enter into a jazz combo score...a million notes that don't exist...nuts !
Cheers
Pete

trying to enter trumpet into jazz combo score...it seems the foot counts are being rendered as false notes?

foot counts = foot pressing on pedal? This causes the note to be sustained. The results make sense to me. I'm sure you're used to pressing the pedal, but you have to manually enter this from the lines palette.

Hi mike - na not true...(a the tutorial says this method of entry was specifically designed to use the foot pedal as entry marker and (b it works great but only on a piano single melody template not on anything else - check out the pics above. You would think the sound or the template would make no difference right? But try it for yourself and you'll see. I hope they can fix it because it THE BEST way of entry IMO by far....Cheers and thanks for your input. Pete
