When i try open a midifile from Impro-Visor (10.x) i always get "Load failed: bad midifile: MTrk expected".
But the same file work fine in Musescore 2.x.
Is the midifile really bad or Musescore 3.x.

See also https://musescore.org/en/node/287079, apparently a MIDI file without an MTrK is not a MIDI file
This file contains "MTrk".
The problem must be elsewhere.
Edit: There are double "End of Track" messages for each track. (see "IV-EOT.png")
Report this on ImproVisor's forum.
PS: Maybe this error can be silently ignored, but I guess Musescore is applying a strict control.
For the expected situation: See "expected-EOT.png".

After the "EOT" indicating the end of a "track", the software normally expects an "MTrk" (or "EOF").
However, before any "MTrk" starts, a new "EOT" message is received (ending tag of a track that has not yet been defined and started).
That's the problem.
Workaround, import in Audacity, Export again as MIDI file, and it works to Open it in MuseScore. How and why, no clue. Black box.
Thanks for the woraround
