Split MIDI on grand staff?
Sorry if this has already been asked a million times, but is there a way to have a different instrument on treble and bass clef on the same part? I'm writing split midi keyboard parts for a conductor's score (one instrument for treble clef and another for bass), but there doesn't seem to be a way to change the instrument on just one staff. I guess I could just make two separate parts and stick a bracket on them, but it looks kind of clunky and is a bit inconvenient, so if there's a workaround I'd love to know it. Thanks in advance.

Add 2 pianos and delete the bass staff of one and the treble staff on the other. Then add back the brace and lengthen the barlines

That's what I've been doing, and it's functional, it just bothers me that the part name is on both staffs and not in the middle, like if it was one part.

Change the part name on the second instrument to nothing and put a couple of returns before the name on the top one, you'll probably have to play with it a little to get it right.

Thank you! I never would have thought of that but it works perfectly!
