Swing and how to turn it off (in Jazz style}
Hi
I love the jazz style (which I use for everything to do with my big band. I also love the way it looks and applied the style to a score that shouldn't swing...and of course it does now. How do i turn off "swing" in this particular non jazz arrangement please? I've given all the menus a 'man look' (as my wife would say) but can't find it.

So you mean the 'Style' of formatting?
But I do not speak English then explain again and possibly attach an example (*mscz) someone else can help you.

You don't need to add any swing text. In Format->Style there is a swing option that is on by default in the Jazz template. The options are the same as in the text style. Adding text to a jazz score is not normally required.
Swing playback is not turned on by default in the jazz templates. If it's on, it must be because you turned it on yourself, then perhaps saved the resulting style file.

hmmm, the most probable reason. Thanks Marc.
