MDL
Why is the MDL drum set sound never loud? I can only hear it when the dynamics are fff, which is basically a mp. This is the case on ANY score that I have. What could be the issue?

I don't use MDL, but the master volume in the synthesizer or play panel could be the issue.

That's not the issue, unfortunately.
Have you tried increasing the volume in the mixer? Alternatively, decrease the volume of everything else.
