Notating music in 4/2 time signature
The 4/2 time signatures is not available on the palette and I tried to input that on the master palette by pressing z but after editing it doesn't appear on the pallete , please how can I go about it?

See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/palettes#custom-palettes to get it added to your workspace (after you added it to the master palette, see abobe).
The next version will have 2/2, 3/2 and 4/2 in the master palette and 3/2 in the advanced workspace

As explained in the Handbook, press Shift+T or use View / Master Palette / Time Signatures to view the master time signatures palette. From there you can create the 4/2 time signature. Again, the Handbook explains the process. if you are getting stuck, please tell us at exactly which step.
