High only the second time through, What?
I have no idea where to post this, so I am posting it in General discussion. It has once again to do with my Beethoven's Fifth Symphony arrangement. It is an issue I am getting with playback of the exposition, The only way that I can explain it is that the violins sound 8va the second time through during the closing theme. That shouldn't happen at all. None of the pitches I wrote would suggest that they are anywhere close to sounding 8va the second time through. But they are. And it isn't like Musescore can do anything along the lines of this within the confines of a repeat sign:
First time loco
Second time 8va
And no, I didn't accidentally put in 8va, otherwise it would sound 8va the first time through and it doesn't.
Why am I getting this second time 8va in the playback of my arrangement? It starts at or around bar 94.

Ears playing tricks on you perhaps? Speaker having issues? It sounds as expected for me.

So, you listened to it both before and after the repeat and it sounded the same? My speaker shouldn't be having any issues, because it doesn't happen like every time that I have high pitches and repeats that I get a second time 8va in playback. It doesn't even happen all the time when I have that + violins. It has only happened once so far, in this Beethoven's Fifth Symphony arrangement. In case the Musescore version has anything to do with it, I am using Musescore 3.2.3

Yes, I listened to the playback first and second time through, using 3.2.3.
Just because other scores don't happen to trigger audio artifacts doesn't mean they aren't happening here. Could be sometime unique to the specific frequencies of the notes in this score that create sympathetic vibration elsewhere in the room, etc.

Hmm, maybe you're right. Maybe something about how I voiced the Bb chord at bar 94 is causing me to get that second time 8va effect in the violins, hearing a high Bb that isn't written anywhere in the score.
