Putting in a tempo
I'd like to put in a metronome number or write something about the tempo above the music. I can't find it in the settings.

In the Palette headed "Tempo" you will find several different elements with which to set tempo (either at the beginning or part-way through a piece).

You can edit things like the half note = 80 so the number is different and MuseScore will update the tempo accordingly
