Transposing
Hi, I want to transpose a chart from E major (concert) to the key for alto sax, which I believe should be Db major, but when I press transpose, the key "signature" changes to Db major but key "chord" is F major.
Can someone explain where I'm going wrong please Once_I_Walked_in_the_Sun.mscz

Mind also attaching the score before transposition?
Alto Sax is a transposing instrument (by a major sixth), but your score uses piano, which is not a transposing instrument

Yes, you can just change the instrument to alto sax instead of transposing.

Thanks both, I've managed to delete the original and will now have to re enter the chord chart. I'm told I have to first enter crl K to open a chord box before entering the chord, which sounds a little tedious but I'll try it and also try changing instrument to alto sax...thanks for now

Control K worked

Just changing instrument to Alto Sax would have transposed the chord symbols too

Thanks, I'll remember for next time

If the chord symbols are entered any method but control K, they will not transpose.

Yes. Unless you set up a different shortcut for it
